A single touch to a metal button turns the room light on or off.
Additionally, this same metal plate can control ANY other light in the home!
Touch plates are non-mechanical. They never require servicing.
An easily removed electronics module located in the lamp fixture or appliance makes for a quick replacement should a failure occur.
Provision is made for lights to give a "lived-in," on/off random cycling of the light when away. Also, the timing system allows lights or appliances to go on or off at a given time of day.... even on a given day of the week.
A radio-controlled (atomic clock) provision is provided so this system can respond to daylight savings time changes automatically. The clock will be set automatically -- and remain in perfect time.
Dusk and dawn are detected by a photocell. This provides a "night light" function for any light in the system.
