One Button Home System
Leave the garage light on? Turn it off from your bedroom!
The One Touch Plate Button System consists of these elements:
1. MASTER unit. Provides power and data pulse for entire system. Also within the Master unit is a clock and clock alarm system. The Master unit inputs a radio (atomic clock) signal for exact timekeeping. A photocell input monitors dusk and sunrise times.
2. DATA/POWER line. This can be telephone, or any other two-conductor cable. This 6-volt data/power line interconnects from the Master unit to all Slave units. The line can be daisy-chained or connected in any order to other Slave units. Both power and data are sent along this line.
3. SLAVE unit. Each slave connects to the Data/Power line to receive and send data to the power/data line. The Slave inputs the remote touch plates and switches the AC power.
